E4E hosts several events throughout the year locally and internationally. Each of the events is aimed at activating allies and transforming them into agents of change and restoring the pride and dignity of the Black community to transform their communities and challenge oppressive systems.

Mr. Davis' Classroom is a lecture series taught by Hodari Davis, former African American studies teacher and professor. All proceeds from this event fund the bi-annual pilgrimage to Ghana, West Africa for the youth of Young, Gifted & Black of Oakland.

The One Africa Film and Music Festival is an event aimed at cross cultural sharing between continental Africans and Africans of the diaspora. Las year we partnered with Firelight Media to screen The Black Panthers: Vanguard for the Revolution for 80 Ghanaians.

Life is Living is a campaign and festival founded in 2009, that Hodari co-founded and has produced in cities all over the United States including Oakland, San Francisco, Atlanta, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Houston, New York, Norfolk and Chicago.  Life is Living is a celebration of Life though Hip Hop, Urban Art and Environmental Activism.  It is a festival that highlights the specific legacy of Hip Hop Culture and The Black Panther Party for Self Defense.

Candice produces a Beauty Zone every year at the Life is Living Festival that aims to restore the pride and self image of Black women. The Beauty Zone features vendors that sell products specifically for Black women, tutorials on Black hair and skin care and a visual art exhibit that honors the beauty of Black women.

Life is Loving is an annual festival produced by Edutainment for Equity in partnership with several organizations and artists in and outside of Oakland.  The festival is a multi site, multi day event dedicated to the celebration of Black History in February.
