ANTI-RACISM, EQUITY & BELONGING
These capacity building institutes are designed for organizations that are committed to building a future that is inclusive of all people. Our approach to this work is unique because it is psycho-social, meaning that we address the internalized impact of racial discrimination as the foundation for the transformation of relationships and institutions. We understand that people write policy. People design and run organizations. Therefore, the people must engage in deep self-reflection and investigate how they have been shaped by systems of oppression and privilege to interrupt, not inadvertently contribute to inequality.

The Anti-Racist Initiative
As an organization we have spent more than a decade engaged in a process of investigating what it takes to establish equitable organizations. We have worked with dozens of organizations providing training, consulting and tools to help them to become more equitable and anti-racist. From this work, we compiled our best practices into The Anti-Racist Initiative. The Anti-Racist Initiative is a 7-Step System for becoming an anti-racist organization. Through this process, your organization will achieve the following deliverables:

Structures, tools and thinking frames for ongoing conversation and organizational change

An Equity committee to ensure accountability
