As educators and youth development professionals it is critical that we are not simply downloading information unto our youth but that we are engaging and that we teach TO our students needs. It is not their responsibility to learn the way we teach. It is our job to teach the way they learn. We must develop engaging activities that incorporate all learning styles. We must be dynamic facilitators and stern classroom managers all at the same time. In this dynamic workshop you will learn how to simultaneously develop curriculum from the bottom up, learn strategies for effective facilitation as well as strategies for classroom management. One session will focus primarily on literacy development with 21st century tools to support classroom learning. One session will focus primarily on math including new innovations on STEAM.
